Scenic plantation. Mostly learnt about the history of plantations and slavery. Not photographed here are the exhibition of the slaves’ quarters and the Roman’s mansion, which depicted life of the people living there in late 1800s and early 1900s.

Very breezy in the swamp. Got to feed alligators and hold a baby one. Saw other types of wildlife. Learnt tons about the history of the swamp area and the wildlife there.

We caught the turtle parade, which was interesting. Each dining area has a different theme, but all of them are very pretty. Southern style brunch but surprisingly light. Get a brunch cocktail or juice.
