Set within the 2/28 Peace Park, the National Taiwan Museum (not to be confused with the National Palace Museum) is the oldest museum in Taiwan, dating back to the Japanese colonial days. It's a great place to learn more about the local aboriginal culture and the history of Taiwan.
On top of the permanent collection, local and international exhibits are held regularly.

Since visiting the National Museum, I've been fascinated and dedicated to learning how our local artists create their own artworks. I've also seen pictures of the museum, and there are so many contemporary arts that I want to see and help me strengthen my inner artistic side so that I can get inspiration for future projects.
If you want to know more about our country, I guess you should visit this museum! If you want to have your me time, the museum is less crowded on weekdays. Here, you may appreciate different forms of art and take pictures.
