This unassuming restaurant has made an indelible mark in Binondo with its affordable but amazing Kuchay Dumplings (a mix of pork and chives). These small pillows of goodness are made from scratch on a simple workstation, and explode with flavor at first bite. Priced at just over USD2 for a serving of 14 pieces, it’s an absolute steal. Other items on the menu include Xiao Long Bao and the always filling Pancake Stuffed with Kuchay.

This restaurant has three floors, mind you. But despite that, it gets busy during the weekends, holidays and peak hours. Ask your favorite Fil-Chi person to recommend to you a classic Binondo Chinatown Restaurant, this will be mentioned for sure! They have an extensive menu, and I might be a little biased here, but you should try their hakaw. It's amazing! I secretly judge Chinese restaurants by how their hakaws are served, and Ying Ying passed the test with flying colors!

Known for Lanzhou-style noodles as a specialty among a wide range of Chinese dishes that are all bang for the buck! make sure to try their lamien noodles, which are hand-pulled. A bowl of noodles can already satisfy 2-3 people- perfect for your next barkada food crawl!

Hand-pulled noodles and a rich broth taste of the soup, I truly love the classic Chinese beef noodles in this restaurant.
