Masamirey Cove Resort

1 save

Urdaneta, Philippines • Recommendation •

Nestled on a quiet fishing village in Sual is a hidden gem called Masamirey Cove Resort šŸ This definitely tops my list of quick getaways in the north because, well, this place has it all!Dreamy tropical villas, an infinity pool with a scenic view of the sea, and an in house restaurant & bar that serves utterly delicious food and refreshing cocktails 🤤 There’s a ton of stuff you can do in and outside of their resort as well. Masamirey Cove also offers kayak and paddleboard rentals as well as other activities that they can arrange for you including: snorkeling, fishing, and island tours! This place is perfect for quick getaways with friends or family šŸ

Tropical Stay.Ph

San Fernando, Philippines • Recommendation •

A small oasis in Pampanga✨ Tropical Stay is the PERFECT place to go to if you’re looking for a romantic staycation with your special someone šŸ‘©ā€ā¤ļøā€šŸ‘Ø I discovered this place on facebook when it was still relatively new, and I was automatically drawn by the interiors — MAJOR bali vibes! šŸ˜When we finally got to the hotel, they didn’t disappoint! What you see from their posts is what you get, and that’s definitely hard to come by these days. The villa was so relaxing, I mean the bed felt like you were laying on clouds! Each villa also has a small outdoor garden with your own private tub. You could also request for the staff to set up candles in the outdoor area for a more romantic feel and if you want to have dinner set up in the garden, they can arrange for that as well (we requested for a candle lit samgyupsal dinner). We didn’t get to try the food offerings from their in house restaurant though since we only requested for a samgyupsal set up and breakfast was already included in the accommodation. But that’s for another time! Will definitely come back here again ā¤ļø

Tagaytay, Philippines • Recommendation •

Sometimes, you just need an escape from the city life. What better way to do that than diving into a luxurious dining experience in Tagaytay? Everything from the atmosphere, impeccable service, and stellar food is what makes dining at Antonio’s a truly memorable experience. Prices might be expensive, but it’s worth every peso. I highly recommend that you try their buratta salad and gruyere & portabello soufflĆ© ✨ Their Sangria is the best! It’s not on the menu but you can request to have them made šŸ·

Palmos Place

Tagaytay, Philippines • Recommendation •

If you love the outdoors, then this place is for you šŸƒ Relax and reconnect with nature at Palmos Place. This is my go-to spot to unwind with the fam & friends down south. Have a quick stroll around their perfectly landscaped garden or take a quick dip in their pools (yazz, they have 2!). But I have to say, the one that takes the cake is their outdoor dining area, it has the most spectacular views of the mountains šŸ”šŸ˜ It’s only about an hour or two away from Manila, and a 15 min drive to Tagaytay, so it’s perfect for a quick getaway! By the way, you could bring your pets with you because this place is pet friendly. They have more than enough space to run around and play. Trust me, your furbabies will enjoy this trip as much as you will! 😜 You can book your stay through this link: https://abnb.me/C7mKuEJfteb

Breakfast at Antonio's

Tagaytay, Philippines • Recommendation •

This spot is for all my fellow breakfast people out there! šŸ³šŸ„“ Dining at this restaurant is a good enough reason to make the drive to Tagaytay. They have an all day breakfast menu that serves both European and Filipino breakfast staples! My favorite thing to order whenever I come here is the eggs benedict, a brunch classic executed perfectly by Antonio’s ā¤ļø The eggs were poached to the gods (lol), sitting atop delicious smoked ham, all under a blanket of velvety smooth and tangy hollandaise sauce 🤤 Another must try from their menu is their golden waffle with a side of chicken schnitzel. Yum! Nothing says breakfast like chicken and waffles šŸ§‡šŸ— Enjoy your meal in the cool tagaytay weather with a hot cup of coffee. In this case, I would suggest that you try their cortada ā˜•ļø To get the full experience, pick a table near the window and enjoy your breakfast with a cool breeze and a majestic view of the Taal lake. Oh, and don’t forget to take pictures! The restaurant has a lot of instagrammable spots, my fave background being the grass foliage in the parking lot šŸ˜ Breakfast at Antonio’s will surely make your trip worthwhile, everything from the food and the impeccable service will bring you not just a meal, but a memorable experience.
