Tagaytay
Tagaytay is not only about bulalo, there are plenty of new restos that are something to look forward to every visit. Let me share to you the list of restaurants that we tried that will make your long drive worth it!
Cafe Voi La serves Asian fusion dishes but I think the menu offers mostly Thai dishes, but they also serve Vietnamese coffee. Food and ambiance is great. There’s ample parking space. Their location is Crosswinds Tagaytay provides nice view while guests are eating.
Tagaytay, Cavite, Philippines
Here’s another Thai restaurant in Tagaytay that serves really delicious and authentic Thai dishes. They get jam-packed on weekends so it’s best to go here on weekdays. Try their Tom Yum Goong, curry dishes, and salads.
9014 J. Rizal Street, Barangay Sikat, Alfonso, Cavite, Philippines
They are a popular breakfast place in Tagaytay, but they are also open for lunch until dinner. It is overlooking the Taal volcano so you can dine with a view. We tried the pasta dishes, as well as their roast beef. The cost is on the pricey side but the great service of their waitstaff and the elegant ambience makes it worth it.
150 Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, Maharlika East, Tagaytay City, Philippines
Bag of Beans Main Branch was the first Bag of Beans we visited. It’s just along Aguinaldo Hiway so you won’t miss it. They have breakfast sets , soup, and pasta dishes.
115 Aguinaldo Highway, Mendez Crossing West, Tagaytay City, Cavite, Philippines
This is our go-to bulalo place in Tagaytay. Prices are affordable, not a fancy restaurant. This is carinderia style where you’ll see the food at the counter and just order what you like. But I tell you, their bulalo and tawilis is a must try, oh and their chicharon bulaklak too.
