As the original Honeymoon Dessert shop, the Sai Kung branch has developed into a bilingual haven to satiate your sweet tooth. The service and the interior design are very traditionally local (despite having an English menu), but the food is diverse. The signature yellow bowls of the old days are moving towards trendy glass jars filled with quirky flavors, such as the Durian Pancake, New Guinea Sago, and Hong Kong favorites like Grass Jelly. It may be wallet-friendly, but it sure isn't diet-friendly!

A wide variety of traditional sweet treats are served up at Honeymoon Dessert, but they’re primarily known for their Tong Sui (糖水, Cantonese for “sugar water”). Well-loved offerings include traditional items like Walnut Soup and Almond Tea, Sweet Ball Coated in Crushed Peanut and Sesame, and Grass Jelly and Red Bean Soup.
