When you use Lemi, you agree to these guidelines, our Privacy Policy, and our Terms & Conditions. We promise to uphold these guidelines and hope you do the same. Any violation can lead to hidden/deleted content, deactivated accounts, and other sanctions.
Provide accurate and up-to-date information. When you sign up for a Lemi account, you are required to provide accurate and up-to-date information about yourself. If you are opening an account on behalf of another person, a company, or a business, you must have the authorization to do so. We do not condone engaging in unlawful, infringing, or deceptive activities.
Post only content that you have the right to share. As a Lemi user, you are fully responsible for your lists and posts on Lemi. Only share what you have the right to post. Do not post anything that violates someone else's rights (including but not limited to privacy, intellectual property, or reputational rights).
Inversely, you cannot sue or file a complaint against Finds and Lemi in relation to user-generated content that infringes your rights unless you have filed a formal complaint with Lemi and Lemi fails to respond to your complaint within a reasonable period.
Be mindful of the law. Do not do anything that may harm Finds' and Lemi's operations, including but not limited to hacking, decompiling, unauthorized accessing and collecting of data, and uploading or posting viruses or malicious code. Ensure that your use of Finds and Lemi's services is permitted under applicable laws.
Be respectful. You must be respectful when communicating with other Lemi users. We refuse to support content that glorifies violence, racism, sexism, hate speech, or any violation of human rights. When you post about places and their history, we acknowledge the possible existence of prejudices of certain times; however, we do not condone the glorification of these prejudices.
Post content that is not disruptive to the community. Certain types of content (such as but not limited to political posts, nudity, and excessive profanity) don't help our goal of creating a positive community. We aim to keep Lemi as a platform to support cultural awareness and independent businesses of authentic recommendations so we don't allow this on Lemi. We request that posts be made with consideration and thought for the diversity of the Lemi community.
Uphold the integrity of the community. Lemi is a platform built for authentic, genuine recommendations where people are meant to discover local businesses. All community members should uphold the integrity of our platform by following our guidelines.
Businesses and individuals cannot use Lemi for any commercial advertising purposes without prior written consent. This includes, but is not limited to, posting referral links or selling memberships to gain sales or recruitment via our platform.
Aside from businesses’ microsite and e-commerce listings, account features such as List/Recommendation are not intended to promote individuals, your own business, or to be used for your own gain. List/Recommendation sections of Lemi are meant to support the sharing of unique local businesses. All businesses and individuals on Lemi must use the appropriate places to list and sell their own products. If you advertise your own products or post links leading to other sales platforms in the List/Recommendations features on Lemi, they will be removed. Continuous violation will result in banning.
We encourage you to help Lemi maintain the authenticity of our platform and challenge the integrity of our community by reporting spam accounts and accounts that violate our terms.
